Meet Betty Hedrick
I’m Betty Hedrick, and I bring over 30 years of experience in managing investments and guiding clients through the intricacies of financial planning. My career began in 1984 in the commodity and futures markets, and by 1986 I had transitioned to running my own firm. This early experience taught me not only about risk but also about opportunity, prudence, and the inner workings of the financial markets.
I became a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) in 1989 and further specialized as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®) in 2003. With academic roots at Macalester College and advanced studies in health care administration from the University of Minnesota, my work in social and health services has given me a keen appreciation for the three most important toolboxes we build in life: our health, our finances, and our personal values.
For me, financial planning is about more than numbers—it’s about creating a clear framework for decision-making. I help clients see the probable outcomes of their choices so they can live fully today, honor the past, and safeguard the future. My holistic perspective ensures that every decision about retirement savings, career paths, housing, and more is made with clarity, free from the noise of everyday distractions.
